Detroit alternative rockers The White Stripes have a very distinctive sound and Meg White’s primal approach to drumming is one of the reasons why they manage their trademark style.  Her simplistic drumming style is her strength and Jack White even said that her beats opened up something in his creativity and liberated him from the stereotypical style of the music of their generation.  We all agree that Meg White’s drumming is a key component of The White Stripes’ sound.  Now let’s see if we also agree that watching Meg beat the living shit out of her drum kit is hot.
